Mauro Sebaste
One of the first women winemakers in Piedmont founded this winery
The winery was born from the strong passion of Mauro Sebaste, son of Sylla, one of the first women of wine , in the 1960s, known as the "dama di Langa". From his mother, Mauro inherited the philosophy of "wine as a project" and respect for the characteristics of their territory. After Sylla's early death, Mauro left the family business and returned to his passion for wine with a single goal: to produce quality.

Mauro started a new company, first with the help of his wife Maria Teresa and his parents-in-law, now with the support of his daughters Sylla and Angelica. His project began with the slow and meticulous search for vineyards: each one had to have the right characteristics in terms of typicality, location and exposure.
Today, Mauro takes care of more than thirty hectares of vineyards that he cultivates himself, with a single goal: to produce quality, completely and without compromise. His family business produces an average of 120,000 bottles of wine and 5,000 bottles of grappa per year and exports all over the world.
