Piedmont, located in north-western Italy, amazes with its natural beauty. From the majestic Alps and Lake Maggiore in the north, to the never-ending rice fields in the centre, to the breathtaking and imposing vineyards of the Langhe and Monferrato regions, Piedmont's diverse landscapes are very impressive. Even today, Piedmont is one of the best-kept Insider tip of Italy.

GLOBALIZATION AFFECTS EVERY ASPECT OF OUR LIVES, DOWN TO THE WINE WE DRINK

The consequence of this is a globalization of taste. Smaller winegrowers compete with the large, industrial producers and usually lose out. Babarolo has set itself the goal of counteracting this trend and giving the independent, small winegrowers an international platform to sell their wines. Babarolo stands behind wine producers who see wine as a natural product and make this philosophy the foundation of their daily work. They only want to produce wines that reflect the origin of their region in terms of taste and that arise from the interaction between man and nature.

Supporting these small, independent producers and at the same time offering the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Piedmont region a forum for the international market is a great pleasure and motivation for the Babarolo team.
