The grapes for this Nebbiolo D'Alba come from vineyards in Alba and Diano D'Alba, which offer particularly good conditions for the Nebbiolo vine due to their soil conditions.
Hand harvesting usually begins in late September/early October and the grapes are carefully selected for further processing. After the grapes have been gently pressed, the Fermentation with daily pumping over. Contact with the shells lasts 8-10 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel containers with an automatic, computer-controlled system for pumping over. The next step is the aging of the wine in 400 liter tonneaux for 12-14 months. (60% American oak barrels and 40% French oak barrels). Finally, the wine is stored in the bottle for a short time.
This high-quality Nebbiolo has a delicate bouquet of fruits and licorice with hints of violets, which is accentuated and perfected by aging.
