The Arborina location is one of the most renowned in the entire Barolo growing region. The Corino family owns almost a hectare of vineyards on this important site with Nebbiolo vines that have an average age of 47 years.
The grapes are handpicked in October and only the best berries are selected for further processing. Fermentation then takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel fermentation tanks. The aging and refinement takes place in wooden barrels of different ages for 24 months. The Barolo is not filtered and is kept in the bottle for a further 6 months before it is sold.
The result is very high-quality Barolo red wine with a long shelf life. Fruity, berry and balsamic notes are impressive on the nose, especially ripe raspberries, black cherries, as well as tobacco and coffee beans. The tannins are already well matured and the Barolo has a lot of power combined with great elegance and balance.
A very good accompaniment to roasts, game and red meat. Also with pasta dishes with truffle. Recommended drinking window: 2022-2035 Decant before enjoying
