    • The Fratelli Revello Barbera d'Alba 2022 represents the classic Barbera wine style in an excellent way. Both fermentation and aging take place exclusively in stainless steel containers. After the grapes have been carefully hand-picked, spontaneous fermentation with local yeasts begins, with the mash remaining on the skins in a horizontal steel container for 6 to 8 days. The mash is then transferred to a large stainless steel tank to complete the alcoholic fermentation. The wine then continues to mature in a stainless steel container for around 10 months before being offered for sale in bottles after a short storage period.

    This Barbera variant impresses with dark, fruity aromas of cherry and blackberry, accompanied by subtle mineral nuances. On the palate it is concentrated and at the same time elegant. The acidity is extremely harmonious and perfectly integrated. Overall, a balanced Barbera that is a lot of fun to drink.

    The respected Fratelli Revello winery is known for its traditional craftsmanship and high quality wines. “The philosophy underlying the production of our wines is based on the assumption that a great wine is born in the vineyard”. This is the leitmotif of the Revello siblings, who run the winery today. The family has been practicing sustainable viticulture for years and the approach to winemaking aims to produce Barolo wines that are suitable for long aging in the bottle, but that can also be appreciated and understood from a young age.

    The Barbera goes well with hearty pasta dishes, chicken, grilled sausages and turkey.
