The family's Barbaresco is an annual highlight, made from grapes from various vineyards and sites such as Montersino, Ronchi and Ovello. These berries are carefully selected by hand for further processing.
Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and usually lasts 30 days. The wine then matures in 20 hectoliter oak barrels from Austria and then spends a further six months in the bottle for fine-tuning. Only then does the Barbaresco go on sale.
The result is an outstanding Barbaresco 2021 that goes far beyond an entry-level wine. It enchants with aromas of cherries, rose petals and dried herbs. Fine tannins and a pleasant acidity give it finesse and structure. An excellent and accessible Barbaresco with a good price/quality ratio.
Drinking window: 2024 to 2032.
