The grapes come from a vineyard located next to the chapel of San Sebastiano in the San Sebastiano district of the municipality of Monforte d'Alba. This plot is located right next to the vineyards that belong to the district of San Luigi in Dogliani.
The grapes are hand-picked at the end of September and after destemming and gentle pressing of the berries, alcoholic fermentation begins in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The subsequent maturation takes place in large, untoasted French oak barrels. The unfiltered wine is then sold after a short period of bottle storage.
The color of the 2021 Barbera D'Alba DOC Vigna S,Sebastiano is deep ruby red. The bouquet has notes of cherries and plums with hints of spice. The taste is full-bodied with well-integrated acidity. The finish is persistent and spicy. The drinking window: 2022-2030
