The Corino family owns 1.5 hectares of Barbera vineyards in Annunziata. The southeast location belongs to the hamlet of Annunziata, where the Renato Corino winery is located. The Barbera grapes are harvested by hand in early autumn and then destemmed in the wine cellar and fermented in stainless steel fermentation tanks. Malolactic fermentation also takes place in stainless steel tanks. After that, the wine is aged in used wood. The Barbera is not filtered.
This Barbera red shows freshness and good tension with aromas of blackcurrant and ripe plums . It is lively on the palate, with berries and acidity present, which is very well integrated. A very successful country wine with structure and density.
Goes well with pasta, rice dishes and grilled dishes.
