The grapes from which La Ca Növa Langhe Nebbiolo 2019 DOC is pressed are harvested by hand and then processed immediately. Fermentation then takes place in a large, open oak vat. This is followed by 12 months of aging in oak barrels from Austria. Before the Nebbiolo goes on sale, it is stored in the bottle for another six months.
The characteristics that distinguish this La Ca Növa Langhe Nebbiolo 2020 DOC are fresh, fruity notes; slightly spicy, velvety taste, very good density, structure with fine tannins and lively, well-integrated acidity. This Nebbiolo Langhe 2020 is ready to drink immediately and for the next 8 years. It goes well with poultry, pasta and risotto. The winery operates organic viticulture.
