The producer Guido Porro
Guido Porro's winery is located directly at the entrance of the Barolo community Serralunga d'Alba. The panorama that the winery offers the viewer is extremely impressive. Endless, lush vineyards that run through the hilly landscape, and almost within reach, but in the background, the mighty and majestic mountains of the Alps.
Guido, a humble man, is running the winery with the support of his wife and father for the third generation. He mainly produces Barolo wines on 8 hectares. In addition to the powerful character of the Barolo wines so typical for this region, Porro's wines are also characterized by a high degree of elegance. Two of his Barolo wines, Lazzairasco and Gianetto, come from individual sites, while the Barolo Seivi comes from different vineyards. In addition to Barolo, Guido also produces Barbera, Dolcetto and Nebbiolo wines.
