The grapes come from different vineyards of the winery, from which Guido Porro presses this classic Langhe Nebbiolo. During the hand-picking at the end of September, the grapes are picked by hand and processed immediately. The following fermentation takes place in a temperature-controlled stainless steel tank for 5 days. The Nebbiolo is then aged for 6 months both in steel tanks and in large oak barrels. After a short bottle storage, the wine is then for sale.
This impressive wine has everything that makes a classic Nebbiolo. Harmony, structure and warmth with fine tannins. Powerful on the palate with great freshness and playful fruity and spicy notes. Good tension and length. This Nebbiolo is ready to drink immediately and for the next 10 years.
It goes well with poultry, pasta and risotto. The winery uses no herbicides, fungicides or pesticides in the vineyard and no additives in the wine cellar.
