Gianfranco Alessandria Langhe Nebbiolo DOC has had a permanent place in the winery alongside the two Barolo wines for many years.
It is an unpretentious wine that has a lot of character and exudes charm. After hand-picking in early October, the grapes are pressed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The expansion then takes place in barriques and lasts 5-6 months. After a short storage period in the bottle, it finally goes on sale.
Its freshness and the scent of wild roses but also of delicate red fruits impress on the nose. On the palate you can feel the elegance and the round tannins. The finish is persistent and lasting. A 2019 Langhe Nebbiolo with good density, structure and elegance.
A good accompaniment to appetizers, pasta, rice and poultry. To be enjoyed immediately or over the next 5-6 years.
