Fratelli Borgogno Dolcetto D'Alba 2021 DOC is a classic Dolcetto wine with great freshness and liveliness.
Lots of fruit on the palate, dense and structured with round tannins. Very successful!
The grapes for Fratelli Borgogno Dolcetto D'Alba 2021 DOC come from a Borgogno family vineyard in Barolo, planted with middle-aged vines. The harvest is done by hand at the beginning of September and the grapes become immediately fermented in a temperature controlled stainless steel tank. The short maturation also takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by 3 months of bottle storage. Only then will the wine be sold.
Fratelli Borgogno Dolcetto D'Alba 2021 DOC has a deep red colour, fresh, fruity notes and pleasantly substantial tannins. On the palate it is dense, structured with a lot of liveliness. A truly classic Dolcetto. It is very suitable as an aperitif, with starters, salami, pasta and pizza. The Dolcetto is ready to drink immediately and for the next three years. The winery practices integrated viticulture.
