An uncomplicated, fresh Nebbiolo with well integrated tannins and floral, fruity notes. Lots of drinking flow.
The grapes for this wine come from various Nebbiolo family vineyards that were planted in 2007/2008. The hand harvest takes place in September / beginning of October and the grapes are then destemmed immediately and pressed. The fermentation then takes place in a temperature-controlled stainless steel tank. The wine is then also matured in stainless steel tanks and after a short bottle storage period, the wine is then put on the market.
This Nebbiolo has a garnet-red color and notes of geraniums and raspberries. On the palate it is warm and soft, has fine tannins and a lot of flow. It goes very well with pasta with ragù, pizza, hamburgers. It is ready to drink immediately and for the next seven years. The winery operates integrated viticulture.

Ca 'del Baio is a true family winery of the fourth generation, which is located in Treiso and thus in the Barbaresco DOCG growing area. The winery is run by Giulio Grasso, with great support from his entire family. p>
First and foremost you will find his wife Luciana, who takes care of the administration of the winery. She is also the one who creates the family balance between work and private life with great energy and passion. The team is only complete with the three daughters Paola, Valentina and Federica, who have mastered all aspects of the wine business with flying colors and play a steadily growing role. Last but not least, the work of the daughters has set the course for a successful future as a family winery.
The owner, Giulio Grasso, was chosen by the renowned wine guide "Gambero Rosso" as winemaker of the year 2016.
