The Nebbiolo d'Alba 2021 is a flagship of the winery. The old Nebbiolo vines from the plot in San Rocco Seno d'Elvio produce healthy and ripe berries to produce a Nebbiolo D'Alba of the highest quality. At the beginning of the Nebbiolo harvest, the grapes are harvested by hand and only the best are selected for further processing. After fermentation, which is carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, the wine is then transferred to large oak barrels for aging. After about a year of maturation, the final step follows and the Nebbiolo D'Alba is bottled and stored for a few more months before it goes on sale.
This outstanding Nebbiolo has diverse aromas with predominantly notes of ripe red fruits as well as subtle spicy aromas. On the palate it appears fresh, yet juicy, dense and structured. The tannins are fine, everything is well integrated and elegant. This Nebbiolo D'Alba is a top wine with great finesse and balance.

The small winery, beautifully located in the heart of the Barbaresco wine region, has achieved international status under the management of siblings Daniela, Monica and Paola. If you are looking for great Barbaresco wines, there is no way around the iconic winery these days. The continued development of the quality of their wines is the focus of the siblings' work, with the aim that the Barbaresco terroir must always be recognizable in every bottle of wine.
