Der Nebbiolo d'Alba 2020 ist ein Aushängeschild des Weinguts. Die alten Nebbiolo Rebstöcke aus der Parzelle in San Rocco Seno d’Elvio produzieren gesunde und reife Beeren, um einen Nebbiolo D’Alba der höchsten Qualität produzieren zu können. Zu Beginn der Nebbiolo Ernte werden die Trauben von Hand gelesen und nur die besten werden für die weitere Verarbeitung ausgewählt. Nach der Fermentation, die in Temperatur kontrollierten Edelstahltanks durchgeführt wird, wird der Wein dann in große Eichenholzfässer zur Reifung umgefüllt. Nach ungefähr einem Jahr der Reifung folgt danach der letzte Schritt und der Nebbiolo D’Alba wird auf Flaschen abgefüllt und noch einige Monate gelagert, bevor er in den Verkauf kommt.
Dieser herausragende Nebbiolo hat vielfältige Aromen mit überwiegend Noten von reifen roten Früchten als auch dezent würzigen Aromen. Am Gaumen wirkt er frisch, dabei saftig, dicht und strukturiert. Das Tannin ist fein, alles ist gut eingebunden und elegant. Dieser Nebbiolo D’Alba ist ein Spitzenwein mit großer Finesse und Balance. Er ist sofort zu genießen und die nächsten acht Jahre. Passt ausgezeichnet zu Lamm, Pasta, Reisgerichten und Geflügel.
