    The grapes for the Fratelli Borgogno Barolo Classico 2019 DOCG come from various vineyards of the winery, which are located above the municipality of Barolo in a southwestern location. This orientation, combined with good soil and vine management, guarantees grapes of optimal ripeness.

    During October, the grapes are harvested by hand and, after destemming and light pressing, fermented in a large wooden vat. Finally, the wine is aged in a large oak barrel for 18 months. After another year of bottle storage, the wine is released for sale. The Fratelli Borgogno Barolo Classico 2019 DOCG has a garnet red color, diverse, fruity and floral aromas, good structure combined with a fine tannin structure and good length. Drinking maturity: 2023-2030+

    Since 1897, the Borgogno family has been producing Barolo in the heart of Cannubi and for five generations they have lovingly cultivated their vineyards to produce a traditional wine that conveys all the authenticity of our land. Today, as then, this iconic winery retains its absolutely family character. The memory of Serio Borgogno, the grandfather of the current owners Emanuela and Federica, lives on in his vineyards and in the passion that he was able to pass on to his family.

    This Barolo harmonizes very well with lamb, veal and pork, pasta al ragù.
